The proposed area is located in the outskirts of the village of Mlynica, right next to the border with the Hihht Tatras National Park. These are two plots of land between which the flows stream – Červený potok.
All buildings are designed with the surrounding environment in mind in the immediate vicinity of the High Tatras. Natural materials such as stone and wood are used in combination with large glass facades. Roofing is mainly done with gable or counter roofs reflecting the nearby mountain peaks. The orientation of the main facades is towards the High Tatras, access and parking are always from the opposite side.
Cottage
A simple one-story recreational building with a rectangular floor plan with an added covered terrace. The cottage has two bedrooms, a bathroom with a toilet and a combined living room with a kitchen. The entrance areas, the terrace and the day area are oriented towards the High Tatras. Physically, the object is designed as two masses separated by a vertical stone wall, each roofed with a counter roof. The facades are lined with light wooden cladding. The total capacity of the object is 4 people. 2 parking spaces/object are proposed.
Outdoor sauna
An object of small architecture designed as two masses, each covered with a gable roof with a gable. A dry sauna, a relaxation room, two showers and a toilet are designed in one mass. In the second mass, there is an outdoor hot tub with outdoor seating and a cooling pool. The location of the object is considered in the lower part of the plot near the Chalet 3 objects.
